Other cities take credit for some other things like Mummbai is the most populated, Chennai most pollutted, Delhi most unsafe and Kolkata most dirty city...etc.

Way to go Chandigarh!
I have visited this city twice and that too briefly, for may be a couple of hours. The phenomenal rock gardens and the typical houses do make a favorable impression.

It is the most well-planned city in India and coupled with that lush greenery, people call it the city beautiful. It is the city administration that is too good to be true. They make sure that the planned city stays intact in the sense that no wrong construction takes place. Also, they plant a lot of trees and thus this news of planting more is no exception. What is exceptional is that this time around, the plantation would make it the greenest city in the world. All this apart, I somehow still can’t bear the heat in Chandigarh. It is too hot by my standards.

WOW, wish we can give Mumbai a similar facelift! Or else we can get the honor of being the most congested and polluted city in India and even the world soon.
