Are we trying to set any unconscious records of just how inhumane one can be ? Even in this age of modern science and technology, it is a sad fact that illiteracy and lack of understanding are responsible for the survival of major social evils like the unjust caste system that only subjects the human mind to severe degradation. The worse part will be that these men, who committed such a heinous crime woont even know the nature of how they have destroyed a life of another family, the mindframe of such village people is in such poor and backward state. I believe that along with the utter lack of consideration of the people who reside in such areas to take action against the guilty, it is also the fault of the police who have been unsuccessful in penetrating their fear into the hearts of those who have guiltiness filled within them even before they have done a crime. Hence it is my belief that education and a proper understanding of our nation and its functioning can only show the light of change and ’humanity’ to such narrow minded, senseless and utter beast of humans.
