No rest and all work are turning the otherwise friendly elephants go berserk in public. Adding to the woes of the giants is the fact that human beings don’t give a whit of importance to their mating season as well !!!!!

Good point about the mating season there Bijoy. I guess a dozen of such incidents took place last year and after a stop gap of five months, such stories of an elephant going berserk have started coming up again. Difficult to comprehend why an otherwise peaceful animal turns into a unsparing beast that eventually costs people their lives.

Nature has his ways of paying back I guess, many phenomenon will be seen in the coming years that have been hidden hitherto for man has set new records in exploitation and will have no other option but reap what he has sown! This being just one of them.

One must understand that our world and the animal world will never meet. A dog can be tamed but you can never guarantee the fact that it wouldnt take a chunk of flesh off your hand someday. Let the animals live their lives and let us mind ours. Trying to bring them into our lives is a bad idea. Incidents of elephant rampage offer enough evidence to substantiate this fact. Like Somya says, Nature has its ways of paying back. So, stop messing with it.

Yes It does and even I hate the fact how man should just tame everything from dogs to hampsters and make enter this kind of domestic pact you never know when the wild side would take over, there have been enough rabies cases to tell you that dogs are not cent percent safe in domestic conditions!!

The authorities never shoot men when they misbehave with animals so why the poor animal was being killed.
They cud have set it unconscious and left it back in the jungle. But no, they got to show that being a human, they possess ultimate powers.
Bloody sick and selfish humans.

I don’t understand why human beings have just one solution to every problem. Be it some personal problem, professional or any problem (like the one talked about), human beings have just one solution-ASSASSINATION. Somebody please tell these people that there is not just one solution to every got damn problem on this Earth.
