The coming of age of Daniel hardly bothers me, but what really concerns me is that kids these days can hardly wait to get into each others pants. Pre marital sex was an old issue, these days its the case of pre-mature sex. I seem to be from an ancient school of thought, but according to me 16 is too immature an age to have sex, because at that age its just that; not love!

Radhika, It is a kind of trend with teenage boys these days even here in India. I have a huge group wherein we have many teenagers who gel well with us and although it would mean breaking the rules ( but they would hardly get to read this), they do fantasize about females who are much much older than them. A couple of them have even been into affairs with girls that are above 25. It is a mad-mad world and we just got to swing with the tide, a corrective measure always meets a sore eye. Cheers!!

Perfectly understood what you are trying to tell here Radhika but some where both these things are related. Those kids who get involved have to go running around looking for MTPI pills for they do not understand the gravity of the problem. They have become school dropouts chasing young and old females and getting into trouble eventually. Same goes for the girls who enjoy the love making act but then get into trouble because of pregnancy. The problem does not end here as they get exploited further to conceal their problems.

That is so true Atul. You know what the doctors in Mumbai say......the maximum number of abortions in Mumbai take place after festivals like Navratri get over. God knows whose Seva do these kids do in those nine days!!
Alarming situation.
I guess the only way to deal with this is to educate our children in our own way. My kids are aged 11 and 9, and i intend to give them a thorough low down on the pros and cons of pre marital sex and overall relationships from a young age. The other day my friend caught her 11 year old son surfing the net for porn, so we gotto give Correct education from a very young age these days...

There is always an attraction between older women and young men (younger than the mature age). Harrry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s confession is not so shoking to me, as it is very common in the Western countries. Sex is considered as a source of enjoyment, and not necesarily developed out of the deep love and affection. Many young girls and boys lost their virginity at a very tender age, that is too fur the sake of fun. Daniel is also one of them . What’s surprising?
