Barack Obama has it. So do Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. Now railway minister Lalu Prasad has jumped on the blog bandwagon.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s candid comments are the reason for his popularity. So now he is literally sending in bytes on TV and internet as well.

Lalu’s entry into blogosphere is a matter of great encouragement, what I can say setting up a new trend in Indian politics. Other political leaders should start their own blogs, where they can express what they feel on various issues concerning national interests. Written words have more credible than the spoken words because Indian leaders are good orators. They generally speak a lot without touching the key issues. In the process, real issues take a back foot.

I personally think that this move by Lalu only adds to his glamor quotient thereby raising curiosity in the minds of the people. Moreover, in keeping with the new age phenomenon, this can only be appreciated rather than making a mockery of him !!

That’s great news! Im sure his blog will make very interesting reading. Apart from Lallooji, the other person who has recently started blogging is Ram Gopal Verma. Interested in reading it? Check out http://rgvarma.spaces.live.com/

Laloo’s blog will become an instant hit. It has been proved again and again that behind the rustic Bihari buffoonery lies a shrewd mind. Laloo talks a lot of sense.
But why has he started a blog? Has he prime ministerial ambitions?

I would not go much for the English language part of the blog. It is bound to be ghost written. UNKA ANGREZI AACHAN NAHIN HAI, NA!
But the rustic one-liners will be gems, I am sure!
