The Pope should have known that Australia is one of the most liberal countries in the world where six out of ten children are born out of the wedlock and where most people have not seen the inside of a church. He was preaching in the wrong country.

"The Pope is an anachronism."

Completely agree Graeme. You are absolutely correct. Take for example what he could achieve with the world's largest Catholic populated country - Brazil. I reckon more people are in to sin than out of it there. It is a violent country with so many murders, rapes etc and then there is of course the culture of free sex.

Where does the Pope not lack faith? Maybe in rotten pockets of countries like places in India and Philippines. Of course he enjoys the status of an emperor in the Vatican whose head of state he is....

The pope is by job a radical figure. This particular pope is a highly dangerous radical. He is mad at what is happening in the Roman Catholic world. Already Islam has overtaken Roman Catholicism as the largest religion. I am glad that this pope and the subsequent ones will see their following diminishing.
