Ain’t it cool? All the good things in life are good for health... I remember having read that beer is good for cholesterol, sex increases longevity, chocolate has anti oxidants, tea has flavanoids, now red wine increases longevity as well!................... And anything else?

Cheers to that! No need to feel guilty anymore if one wants to indulge in red wine anymore.

Hmmm very interesting indeed. Jaiyant hit just about everything that does do good. But I don’t think it would be good in excess. Like anything else moderation is the key. Also, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Both good and true sayings.

Taylor, yes I agree with you... moderation is the keyword here. When the researchers say something is good for us they mean red wine two glasses a week, chocolate a bar in two days etc. But people like me just need such encouragement to indulge greedily... sigh

Red wine has been found to have antioxidant properties expelling the toxins in the body. It also good for the heart as it regulates the normal pumping. But we should remember that too much of something may post some risks. Drinking in moderation is always advised.
