Its real shame..KPS Gill should be punished for the poor performance of the Indian Hockey team. What the hell he is doing in IHF for the past 15 years?

Corporate world and media are equally responsible for the debacle in Indian hockey. Do we know the names of all players in Indian team? Who wants to be hockey player when a newcomer cricketer like Piyush Chawla gets 1 crore and Hockey players are not getting even one lakh from any sponsor.

It is a shame for Indians that people have started talking to make Cricket India's national game. The Indian Hockey Federation should take responsibility for India's failure to qualify for Olympics. Hockey players aren't getting due respect from people of the country. It might be said as the biggest reason for their low confidence.

It is one of the saddest moment in the history of Indian Hockey. The onus for this defeat has to be shared by the Government as well as the public Sector. When a patient who is ailing in the hospital bed, is deprived of oxygen and dies, who should be blamed. It is the hospital and his attendants. The IHF has failed to deliver. Atleast now the Govt., media & sponsors should render their patronage Hockey to revive it. Let us set aside this defeat and hope for a better show in 2010 WC & 2012 Olympics
